The role involves developing new business, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with customers, industry associations, and tender stakeholders. Objectives of this Role

Below are some of the main responsibilities of this position:

Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence through strategic account management and stakeholder engagement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by providing technical and commercial support.
Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Support sustainable business growth by meeting sales targets and profitability goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from order confirmation to delivery.
 

Responsibilities

Below are some of the main responsibilities of this position:

Promote new products and services to create additional value for existing accounts.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication and on-site visits
Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing professional and technical advice
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders involved in tendering, industry associations, and new customers.
Lead and coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth execution from order confirmation to delivery.
Manage customer contracts, including renewals and amendments, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms.
Analyse account profitability and take corrective actions to meet minimum profitability targets.
Monitor budgets and develop strategies to support sustainable business growth.
Utilise CRM and sales tools to track activities, manage pipelines, and report progress.
Ensure all activities comply with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Resolve customer issues efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction

Job Competencies

Below are the qualifications that are expected for this position:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field,
Experience in business development, sales engineering, or account management (preferably in gas and chemical industrial, engineering, or technical environments,
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience handling tenders and key accounts will be an advantage
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
